The packing division sets the standard that all others should aspire to - one’s precious purchases always arrive in great shape, and are And when I can’t get there in person, I scope their website and Discogs listings. Whenever I visit the States, Rockaway is always on the itinerary. There’s no attitude in respect to whatever your tastes may be, and whether buying or selling, prices are both informed and fair. Rockaway has all the required attributes: extensive knowledge,Įver-changing stock, fantastic personable service. I’ve worked in some of Sydney’s most legendary music emporiums so I know a thing or two about what constitutes a great store. As a visiting Australian I've been buying collectable records in the US since 1980. Well, I would rate visiting Rockaway Records equally so. Someone once said that seeing Jonathan Richman in performance was as much fun as you could have with your clothes on. I have found Rockaway to be the most honest and most knowledgeable company re: Rock 'n' Roll memorabilia and music of the many other companies that I have dealt with. Not one, I repeat - Not One - has ever come back with anything other than glowing comments and results.
